Single-line TDLAS measurement for trace gases and fast process control.
LD500 uses a narrow-linewidth tunable diode laser tuned to one absorption line of the target gas. Because the line is resolved individually, cross-interference from other gases is avoided and detection limits reach the ppb to ppt range.
Up to four laser heads can be housed in one analyser, each measuring one gas (occasionally two). The laser is connected to the measurement point by optical fibre, and the emitter/receiver unit (ER120L with RR090L reflector for ambient, ER060L cross-stack for ducts) is mounted on the duct. Fibre length can reach several hundred metres.
| Measurement principle | TDLAS |

Typical data from OPSIS product documentation; specifications depend on the application and are confirmed at quotation stage.
Which gases can one LD500 measure?
Up to four laser heads, each normally for one gas: NH₃, HCl, HF, CO, CO₂ or H₂S depending on the heads fitted.
Send the gases, ranges, duct or path dimensions and required certification — we will respond with a technical proposal.
