Long-term isokinetic sampling that represents average emissions, not a short snapshot.
Dioxin emissions fluctuate. A short manual sample can miss the peaks, while a one to four week isokinetic sample averages them. DX100 collects PCDD/Fs on XAD-2 with flow-proportional CO₂ sampling.
The probe tracks duct velocity to maintain isokinetic conditions. Sample gas passes through XAD-2 adsorbent, and a proportional CO₂ sample is taken at the same time so the result can be normalised and used for emission factor work.

Typical data from OPSIS product documentation; specifications depend on the application and are confirmed at quotation stage.
Why sample over one to four weeks?
Long-term sampling averages normal operating fluctuations, which is more representative of actual emissions than a short manual sample.
