DOAS analysers for stack emission and process gas monitoring.
The AR600 series is the analyser platform behind OPSIS System 400 CEMS. The same analyser can be configured for in-situ cross-stack measurement, fast-loop extraction or hot wet extraction, depending on dust load, moisture and the gases required.
| Configuration | Principle | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Cross-stack | Emitter and receiver on opposite sides of the duct, no sampling line | High temperature, high dust, fast response |
| Fast-loop | Short heated loop to a measurement cell outside the duct | Difficult access, high moisture |
| Hot wet extractive | Fully heated sample path, no condensation | Gases that must stay in the vapour phase, mercury, H₂S |
SO₂, NO, NO₂, NOx, CO, CO₂, HCl, HF, NH₃, H₂O and O₂, with FTIR coverage extending the list to N₂O, CH₄ and TOC.
| Measurement principle | UV-DOAS / FTIR-DOAS |
| Configuration | Cross-stack / fast-loop / hot wet extractive |
| Gases | SO₂ / NO / NO₂ / NOx / CO / CO₂ / HCl / HF / NH₃ / H₂O / O₂ |
| Duct temperature | Up to 500 °C (cross-stack) |
| Standards | HJ 75/76 · EN 15267 |
| Certification | TÜV QAL1 · MCERTS · CCEP |
Typical data from OPSIS product documentation; specifications depend on the application and are confirmed at quotation stage.
Which configuration should be used?
Cross-stack for clean optical access and fast response, fast-loop when the duct is difficult to access, and hot wet extraction when the sample must not condense.
Which gases are covered?
SO₂, NO, NO₂, NOx, CO, CO₂, HCl, HF, NH₃, H₂O and O₂, with N₂O and CH₄ available with the FTIR analyser.
